the institute of agricultural information and economics was founded in 1986. it is the center for the collection, analysis, and utilization of agricultural economic and technological information in hebei province, mainly carrying out research on agricultural literature and economy, rural development and innovation of agricultural information and smart agriculture. there are 41 workers in the institute, including 14 researchers and 13 associate researchers, 2 experts enjoying government special allowances of hebei province, 1 chief expert and 4 post experts in hebei modern agricultural industry system.”acta agriculturae boreali-sinica”, “journal of hebei agricultural sciences”, and “modern rural technology” are 3 main journals that managed by the institute. based on the technological advantages, the institute also provide technological support for the development of modern agriculture in hebei province.
