from august 11th to 12th , professor dimitrios savvas, the chief scientist of the econutri international cooperation project, together with his assistant mrs. antrianna ivona viei from agricultural university of athens and professor tian yongqiang from china agricultural university, visited haafs to conduct academic exchanges on intelligent management on water, fertilizer and healthy soil of facility vegetable cultivation.
vice president zhang qiang and wang qi met with experts, and introduced the basic situation and international cooperation of haafs. both sides have reached a consensus on technological cooperation and talent cultivation, laying a solid foundation for the future exchanges among scientific and technological personnel.
at the academic seminar, professor dimitrios savvas highlighted the research progress and application of the nutrient decision-making system dss for greek’s soil and soilless vegetable cultivation, mrs. antrianna ivona viei demonstrated and explained the use of dss software, and after that professor tian yongqiang had an in-depth exchange on standardized improvement of soil in barrier vegetable fields and coordinated management of soil fertilizer and water". through the visiting and exchange, the cooperation foundation between china and agricultural university of athens has been further deepened, as well as providing the technical support for low-carbon development, green transformation, and sustainable development of agriculture in hebei province.
